Love Knot Gift – Map Heart Wedding Gift

The Love Knot. A map keepsake to commemorate your wedding day or for a special Anniversary gift.

One heart, two halves.

I use a vintage map with your two special locations, one on each half. A line of hand stitching joins both the halves with a love knot at the centre. Your map artwork is then personalised with a line of writing at the top and bottom. You can have the couples names at the top and the date they were married or engaged at the bottom.

The perfect gift

Celebrate the marriage of childhood sweethearts, as your map heart will show two locations close together. Of course you can also show two distant locations, but the map will obviously not show as much detail on it.

Stitching
You can choose to have the stitching continue to your specific location on your map heart or stop at the edge of the map. The love knot is hand stitched using red embroidery thread.

Gift Wrapping

Your love knot map artwork will come to you wrapped in white tissue paper and tied with red and white bakers twine. See final images.

Each piece comes with a little note from me the maker telling you how your artwork was made and a gift tag that you can personalise as you wish.

DIMENSIONS

The whole map heart measures 13cm high x 14cm wide (each half is 7cm wide)

The unmounted artwork is 21cm wide x 30cm high

With a mount it measures 30cm wide x 40cm high
