05 Oct October is musically inspired and other news

Happy October everybody. I am still finding it hard to believe that we are into our third last month of the year. It is slightly disconcerting seeing all the shops starting to sell Christmas decorations, just put it away people. But I do love the way the leaves are starting to change colour, I love the freshness to the air in the morning.

I have picked my blackberries and they are currently residing in my freezer with my sliced apples [how to freeze apples] ready to make my blackberry and apple jam. I am keeping an eye on the sloe berries so that I don’t miss out on making my sloe gin.
