Today I have something a little different for you. My new pattern pencils. These pencils were originally designed as a special commission for a subscription box company and they have now evolved into a new product range.

Dots and Dashes

Stepping away from my usual literary quote pencils, and in simpler packaging, I wanted to offer something in a lower price range that didn’t compromise on quality. So you have the same high quality HB pencils, but 4 pencils instead of the usual 5 and no pencil box.

By streamlining the packaging and presentation I was able to offer these pattern pencils for under the €10 mark, which was one of my original aims with this new range.

Pattern not words

The designs on the pattern pencils are created from original hand illustrations that I drew using pen and ink. Its always exciting seeing your ideas in their finished form. It was also interesting to work on a design that was not centered around words. And I really like the end result. I have a few more pattern designs on the drawing board which I will definitely be releasing at a future date.

But for now I am in my blue phase!

Future Iterations

I plan to expand this range out to offer some of my most popular literary pencils in this format. I will TRY and get some Jane Austen versions of these in the shop before Christmas.
