Wedding & Anniversary Custom Map Heart Artwork

This Personalised map heart artwork makes such a thoughtful wedding or paper anniversary gift.

The name of the happy couple and the date of their wedding are on each map heart artwork artwork. Then the two locations are sourced from vintage maps. Pick where each person is from. The perfect wedding keepsake for a couple who grew up on opposite sides of the world and still managed to find each other.

The hearts are hand cut and mounted on a thick card so they stand out slightly from the backdrop (see images).

Linking the two map hearts is a hand stitched looped line of red embroidery thread. Representing the journey that has brought them together and the ties of love and commitment that will sustain their love. 

As I use vintage maps for each map heart artwork, sometimes newer housing estates etc may not show up so a large town or city name works best. If it is a very small village then an area or region name will be best to find the perfect map. If I think that a more modern map will work better for your location I will always prioritise getting the perfect location over the age of the map.

Mount Options

The unmounted artwork will fit perfectly into a RIBBA IKEA 30 x 40 frame as shown in the image. If you are going to mount it in an Ikea frame then you don’t need to buy a mounted version. Just let me know and I can send you information on the exact frame you will need.

Watercolour Paper. Double layer of 300gsm watercolour card. 600gsm total thickness. Vintage maps, red embroidery thread
Gift wrapped in crisp white tissue paper, red and white bakers twine and finished with a mini gift tag and heart.
