November and Shakespeare

This months Subscriber Special is in honour of Shakespeare. Because on the 28th November 1582 18 year old William Shakespeare married 26 year old Anne Hathaway.

People don’t give a lot of time to Shakespeare’s wife, we don’t have a lot of information on his early years. I have often heard people commenting on Shakespeare’s  Last Will and Testament in which  he left her the ‘second best bed’, they take this to be a lack of affection. But as Bill Bryson says in his book ‘At Home’ the best bed in the house was always reserved for guests and so by leaving Anne the second best he was leaving her their marriage bed. So I would like to think that theirs was a love match. And you shall not persuade me different.

And so we are honouring Anne this month, and picking our Shakespeare Sonnet Pens as this months Subscriber Special.

When you are a subscriber to our Mailing List you will get 25% off our Shakespeare Sonnet Pens. It is our way of saying thank you for listening, for your loyalty and custom to our brand. We are a small design studio (just myself and my assistant) and everything we sell is handmade in Ireland. We love what we do and we hope you do too!

You can join the club by following this link here and when you confirm your subscription you will get an email with your CODE pinging your way.

Each month it is a different theme and once you are on the Mailing List you get access to it.

These personalised Shakespeare pens make beautiful wedding gifts. Sonnets on love
